Gordy's HWY30 Nation partnered with Veteran 501c3 Charity, Operation Rock The Troops, to host their Songwriting Healing Program on the main stage in 2023 in both Idaho and Texas.

3 veterans were challenged to experience the healing camp program, learn to write in a journal, get paired with a national artist and write and perform an original song on the Gordy's HWY30 Main Stage! The program helps the Veteran use songwriting as a tool to never be alone and have an outlet for their thoughts. When they perform the song live, they are not only speaking up about their struggles they allow the listener an opportunity to be inspired and learn they are not alone with struggles. 

Music heals and songwriting is the tool and at Gordy's HWY30 the veterans get to take the stage and share their heart. Because when words fail music speaks.

In 2024 we will premiere the Documentary Series filmed by 1307 Productions at both Gordy's HWY30 Music Festival in Idaho and Gordy's HWY30 Texas Edition at Texas Motor Speedway.
